We have an algorithm we've been using in our software system that takes a sample from a very large series of data, rank orders the sample and creates quantiles in order to create a reference set against which to measure the rest of the data on a 100 point scale. That process is replicated for several different inputs.
We've made some changes to the data source, and now we're getting unexpected results from our algorithm. We need some help fixing the algorithm to improve our results. We expect this to be a 2-4 hour job, working with our programmers. C# and/or java programming skills preferred.
