Collect data from many excel files into master excel file.

We have many excel files (over two hundred). From each of these excel files we need to get several data (about 10 cells) and put it in the master Excel file.
Can you develop Visual Basic Macro that will do the job? Please note, that the [login to view URL] approach doesn't work, as it will slow down the whole process to very long time.
We run Excel 2016 under OS X EI Capitan.
Any other approach that can do this job fast, will be also considered.
