I have worked as a Project Engineer for a solar installation company (residential and commercial) in the US and my work consisted in creating the line diagrams for the systems as well as preparing all the paperwork for the permits. Each location in which you are installing solar will be different as far as requirements for permits so it is critical that this information is provided as well as the company/ installer's qualifications.
