Objective :- To design the aerial rig to hold the two camera. Back ground:- Kairos Aerospace seeks a mechanical design for an aerial rig to hold two cameras. The envelope for the rig is roughly 11”w x 16”d x 18”h. The rig will have mount points, and one degree of motion freedom for adjustment, to be set upon installation and then fixed. Additional mounting points will be required for PCBs and other components. Project Proposal: I can provide detail Project Proposal once the project is Shortlisted. Approach:- Conceptual Design :- I will provide you the different designs based on the design concept you provided to illustrate the various design issues. (20 days approximately) Final Design:- Once the conceptual is done we can provide the detail drawings (5 days approximately) Delivery:- Based on the comments we will modify the final changes and update you the delivery files. Approach:- Status mail on daily basis. Expected Inputs:- Details of the cameras and components including SolidWorks models of the cameras Note:- Satellite instruments manufacturing should have high precision, So the GD&T a practical approach to dimension and tolerance will be used to ensure the quality of the product for manufacturing high precision. If these cameras with the proposed housing you will install into the airplane, certainly you will need the FAA certificate according to the required regulations (FAR-23?).
