Abstract about solar energy As Conventional fossil-fuel energy sources diminish and the world’s environmental concern about acid deposition and global warming increases, renewable energy sources are attracting more attention as alternative energy sources. Among the renewable energy sources, the solar energy has been widely utilized in power generation. The photovoltaic (PV) generation is one of the most useful applications of the solar energy. This project aims to develop the remote and rural areas by using the solar energy for generating the required electrical energy needed for supplying a an electric load using photovoltaic systems. The present project aims mainly to determine the required electrical demand for a sample load (Lab) in these areas and then efficiently design the required photovoltaic system to supply the proposed load. The electrical load in the project cover most electrical loads such as lighting, fans, and power outage points for mobile charge, drill, etc. In the way of feeding the electrical loads the project mainly optimize the other components of the system such as PV modules, charge controllers, inverters, batteries, and other accessories such as cables and circuit breakers etc. This type of systems can be applied on large scale to solve the problem of electrical energy in remote areas and desert. It also certifies the importance of PV energy systems and their economical feasibility in these areas. It is expected in this project to produce a clean electrical energy using photovoltaic-powered system. From the economical point of view, it is expected that PV systems will be very competitive with the other energy sources available in these regions, specially when taking into consideration the cost of removing the environmental pollution resulted from using the traditional energy sources, like diesel generators.
