Hi Oliver I need some basic help with FreeNAS. its all setup okay and the datapool setup etc. but im having permissions trouble creating and accessing drives over the network. Looking for a professional in ESXi and FreeNAS. We have an ESXi Server that has connectivity to FreeNAS but cannot mount NFS shares even though all settings seem to be correct. There are 2 FreeNAS servers in current environment. All servers uses ZFS so live migration can be possible via in-build feature of ZFS. 1 – old primary FreeNAS (there are 4 VMs) 2- New Primary FreeNAS is configured. My FreeNAS unexpectedly crashed. I created a new thumb drive with the OS, and installed and have began reconfiguring. I did not lose any data which is great, but when I try to create folders within file explorer, it says that I do not have permission. I was able to do this before, and cannot figure out why I cannot now. This NAS is used primarily for when scanning to network drives from our copiers, and I house most of my IT resources on there. Any assistance I can get would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
We recently reset the router, somehow all our VM machines shows "Status Invalid" see the image attached. I think it's a storage issue, maybe the IP for FreeNAS changed when we reset the router. We need to get these VM machines online ASAP
