We have a requirement which requires a live streaming solution. Here is the requirement: There will be 5000 IoT devices (using Omega 2S+, running OpenWrt). Each device is capable of streaming live video via a specific usb camera (which is only H264 compatible, 720 degree panoramic camera). There will be about 1000 users. Each user can own 1 or multiple devices. Whenever the user wants to view live streaming of a device they own they should be able to do so. Script pings internet on connection 1 and if no answer, it failover to connection 2 Script pings internet on connection 2, if no answer, it goes to connection 3, and so on for connection 4-5-6-7. If connection 1 becomes available again, internet is sent back via the Previous Active connection. Traffic is then NAT`d and sent to and from the regular LAN 1. I need a way of creating a log file (ideally in JSON or XML) to log connections to the WAP. Log file needs to include date, time and MAC address of connection.

I have been able to have a vpn connection with router MAC address but when the firmware configurations are uploaded to a different router it does not like the new routers MAC Address so it reports to the vpn server a ramdom MAC Address, when the router connects to the vpn server it needs to always report its own MAC address all the time to be able to assign a static IP. This image is going to be uploaded to other similar routers, Firmware most detect host router MAC address or be able to change MAC to reflect device MAC, and consistently report Same MAC to Server.
