**Manager of Content for the Intranet.** Our intranet is built with SharePoint Portal Server on Windows 2000 server. I have been intimately involved in every aspect of our intranet from choosing the product, to organizing content and format, to design and development, to roll out and support. Weighed against several RFP's with vendors such as Plumtree, Little Tornados, and SAP, we decided to save the firm several hundreds of thousand dollars by taking on the task of building our corporate intranet on our own using SharePoint Portal Server. I now play a key role in the portals management and development as I have advanced insight into the inner workings of SharePoint and how it may be utilized to bring together Active Server Pages, HTML, XML, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, and the WebDAV. I also provide web design using several products including Visual Studio, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and Flash with ActionScript. I also provide unique, creative graphical content using Adobe Photoshop, and have a very good eye for creativity in design layout and graphics.
**Client system virus protection management.** I have designed and automated the client system McAfee Virus protection in our firm using Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0. Database driven logon updates of McAfee's SuperDAT files help us to eliminate the risks of computer virus attacks. McAfee virus definition files are automatically updated at logon without client user interaction, and because this system of updates is database driven, we are able to provide real-time reports on the update status of all client computers.
**Network Logon Scripting.** Using KiXtart and MSDOS batch coding, I've streamlined and empowered our department to control and update client systems. System setups are consistent, standardized firm documentation is localized, virus protection is updated daily, system configuration and logon user account information is logged, and occasional application installation and upgrades are silently automated.
**Software Developer.** Originally hired for my programming skills, I have had the pleasure of leading several different software development projects for the firm. I am currently working on a project for our Recruiting department, designing and developing a Recruiting Management Application. Backed by MS SQL 2000, this web based system will provide potential lawyer recruit management tools, reporting, and security for a department that requires highly confidential data handling. I've developed several custom WebParts for several departments to be used in our Intranet Portal. Using VB.NET, I've designed and developed an automated directory security tool to support our matter conflicts data. With Visual Basic for Applications in Word and Excel, I have created countless automated documents in support of all of our departments and areas of law. Automated documentation takes advantage of data connections to our underlying matter management software (ProLaw) in both Sybase and MS SQL 2000. I've developed client friendly system repair tools in both MSDOS batch scripting and Visual Basic 6.0 versions.

I currently volunteer my service to the finance and legal group of the steering committee. In charge of club legal matters, I am responsible for the incorporation of our group as a non-profit corporation and maintenance of bylaws. Because of my unique position, I have also procured and coordinated the Pro Bono representation of our firm for this user group. With thanks to this fine club, and to our impressive list of speakers, I've become more aware of emerging .NET technology and advanced development practices.
