Various features make this site vast and professional like the bid-o-matic, buy now, inventory loader, reserve auctions, Dutch auctions etc. Admin section handles all the necessary tasks required for the management of the site.
Software Development iMetrikus San Diego, CA 07/2001 - present SDEI created a web Based Survey system that allows the survey makers creating the surveys. End users can enter into the system and can vote for a particular survey and later on this valuable data is analyzed and the system then gives meaningful results. The surveys are dynamic with survey maker can enter various elements in the surveys like the check box, text box, text areas, segments, grids of check boxes, ratings etc.

Since the main features from PMT are (a) real time knowledge of purchase (b) analysis of the collected data for accurate results to increase sales, a flexible/scalable & secure feature need to be designed. The new design has been created to support Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Solaris. It operates with mainstream databases, including SQL & Oracle. It is written in Java and C++. The email segmentation is being done using XML and PERL. XML is being used for transferring information because of data interchange flexibility. Reports are presented in JSP technology. The need for a powerful and reliable database has been met by choosing Oracle enterprise Edition (oracle 8i).
Software Consutling and Development Sentius Corporation Palo Alto, CA 05/1999 - 09/2001 Sentius was using the proprietary solution earlier for handling all the client specified annotations and standard dictionaries for richlinking the web content. Technologies used for this were PERL, VC++, MS Access, JavaScript, HTML and some of the proprietary database formats like .rla. But as the demand for automated content enrichment arises, the need of a robust, reliable and scalable architecture becomes more powerful. smartData helped redesign the application. Java technology was the first step. Java technology's ease of development, multi-platform capability, and robustness of network applications made it the ideal candidate for converting its existing applications. The Richlink application is redesigned as a thin client application, which uses XML as a defacto standard for exchanging the database across the various applications. The Java / XML conversion combined with Oracle greatly improved the database interchange flexibility, getting the most from it database objects. For example now all the client specified annotations are filled in Oracle using the XML templates their XML tags correspond to Java programming language class names, their XML attribute lists correspond to object attributes, and their XML element lists correspond to list of objects and members of objects.

We also worked on the interface with VB front-end and Oracle/Informix data warehouses with transactional information. Currently the system is deployed with over 300 users.

We also implemented the purchase transactions using cgi and Sybase database server. SDEI also created a mutual fund application over on the web. It was a web based stock information application to assist the investor and to analyze the market. The investor analyses the information fetched by the end user and based on those results the investor can better judge where to invest his money. He can search based on different criteria and can mine the information that he needs. All the business logic was put in the Stored Procedures. It was optimized using WCAT for performance.
