Vegans and vegetarians do not eat animals, they eat plant-based diets. But there are things that vegetarians eat that vegans do not eat. A vegan is a person who does not eat or use animal products, while a vegetarian is someone that does not eat animals but can eat animal-based products. This is the difference between a vegan and a vegetarian. Vegetarians eat and use animal-based products like: eggs, milk, honey, butter, cheese, chocolate, yoghurt, leather, clothing, but vegans don't.
