Biomedical (Miniaturized ECG) PCB Design

An ultra small (5mm x 5mm only, less than half of human fingernail) PCB design with BLE module (wafer level chip scale package), chip antenna, oscillator, battery and other passives. This was an insect tracker for Red Palm Weevils (RPW). My work included design and fabrication of this PCB as well as Firmware, and I won best paper award on publication of this work.

Ultra-small 5mm x 5mm BLE PCB

An 8 layer PCB design containing LoRA, BLE, micro SD, GSM, GPRS, GNSS, Multiple sensors as well as chip antennas and RF connectors (UMCC). This was a sensing and communication tag for underwater monitoring applications. My work included design and fabrication (from foundry) of this PCB as well as Firmware for this and a base station. Also, outsourced developed a cloud server and created a complete sensing and monitoring system for marine animals

A paper based inkjet printed real time location tracking TAG

International microwave symposium (IMS)

This paper presents, for the first time, fabrication of an inkjet printed, wearable, low-cost, light weight and miniaturized real time locating TAG on an ordinary photo-paper. The 29 grams, 9 cm×8 cm×0.5 cm TAG integrates a GPS/GSM module, a microcontroller with on-paper GPS and GSM antennas.
