Hi...I'm Jim and I've been working in the freelance world for over half of my career. I have two passions which I pursue, Product Design and Photography and Video. My meticulous nature and drive both lend themselves to creating high quality finished products in both of these fields. Product Designer/CAD Professional I'm a product designer/CAD Professional with 27+ years of experience. I have worked on or led projects that range from single part designs to large assemblies. My clients range from individual inventors to corporate clients with some of the best-known brands in their industries. What to expect when working with me: o Attention to detail o Fast turnaround times o Upfront and timely communication o Complete drawing packages if needed o Solid background in engineering and design of real-world products o Knowledge of many different materials and manufacturing processes o Solid knowledge of many 2D and 3D CAD platforms including AutoCad, Inventor, Fusion 360 and Creo What separates me from a lot of the other Designers that you will deal with is the fact that I'm a true designer, having worked in the freelance world for over half of my career I've found that a lot of the designers are really just CAD people. They don't have the background or understanding of what it really takes to develop a product, source components, control costs and give their clients the best chance at being successful. Content Creation I've been doing photo and video editing for about 7 years now. I've been shooting and editing work for local clients mostly in the real estate and creating engaging content for their social media platforms. I've also done some work creating software tutorial videos (CAD software). What to expect when working with me: o Quick o Accurate o I use the Adobe suite of programs o Revisions of finished video until you are satisfied o Color corrections as needed o Text and graphics I really enjoy taking raw customer footage that I've shot or that is being supplied and turning it into something that my customer loves and is proud to share and use in the promotion of their brand or business.
