Project Details 1) Frequency Counter Organizer : B.U.I.E., West Bengal University Of Technology. Team members : 3 Software : Circuit Maker. Description : The main objective of this project is to count the frequency of incoming signal and display information by Seven Segment Display. Frequency means no. of pulses present in 1second. Any signal coming is first made digital pulse by a Comparator. The 555 Timer allows the pulse for 1second. The AND gate will be active for 1second and the pulses will be counted by the BCD counters made by IC74190. The counted value is 7-segmant by IC7447 and display is common cathode display. Responsibilities : Involved in circuit designing and testing. 2) Digital Thermometer Organizer : B.U.I.E, West Bengal University Of Technology. Team members : 3 Software : Circuit Maker. Description : The main objective of the project is to design a system which display the temperature reading by Seven Segment display. If it is placed in any environment then the Thermometer can change its reading time by time, ascending to change of temperature. The system consists power section, temperatures transducing & tunner section, Analog to Digital converter section, Binary to BCD conversion section & Display section. Responsibilities : Involved in circuit, testing and implementation. 3) Localization Project : Software : SDLX, RC-Wintrans, Frame Maker, Alchemy Catalyst, Practicount, Abacus, Photoshop, Illustrator. Description :Localization is the term used when a product is introduced to another country. It is not simply a case of translating instructions and text on packaging into the language of the intended country; it is a way of marketing the product to the target audience of the country. Localization integrates the product into the both the language and the culture of the intended country. Responsibilities : Converted files, checked fonts, formats, Dialog boxes, Translation missing. Training Details: Mobile, WLL & Transmission Mobile, WLL & Transmission at Bharat sanchar Nigam Limited, Bankura, West Bengal. Main object of the project is to get an overview of the GSM system and philosophy behind its design. Wire less local loop (WLL) is a generic term for an access system that uses a wire less link to connect subscribers to their local exchange in place of conventional copper cable. This involves CDMA, TDMA, FDMA technologies.
