Some have been optioned for feature film development. A die-hard gearhead long before he could legally drive, Nothing Runs, chronicling Adam’s hilarious misadventures in the classic and exotic car biz, is published by Veloce Publishing, the world’s foremost auto book publisher. The Pirate Handbook: A Rogue’s Guide to Pillage, Plunder, Chaos & Conquest (Chronicle Books), was ghostwritten by Adam for/with serial entrepreneur, TV personality, former Philadelphia 76ers owner, and world-renowned pirate expert Pat Croce. When ex-Mexican drug cartel smuggler Chris Heifner wanted to write his true-crime memoirs, he turned to Adam for assistance. The result is Mule: My Dangerous Life as a Drug Smuggler Turned DEA Informant, published by Lyon’s Press. A Guide To Improvised Weaponry: From Hairbrushes to Pizza Boxes, How to Turn Ordinary Items into Weapons of Self-Defense, co-written with Terry Schappert, active Green Beret and star of Discovery’s “Dude, You’re Screwed,” will be published in 2015 by Adams Media. On the Hollywood front, Adam has optioned original screenplays and been hired to write scripts based on producers’ story lines and treatments. His original screenplay, Hunter’s Moon, co-written with Mark Rogers, based on a high-octane feature article Adam penned for Maxim about hunting poachers in Africa, was a Top 20 finalist out of 3,516 entries in the 12th Annual Script Pipeline Screenwriting Competition. Partnering with Eugene Lee, the NFL agent featured in Morgan Spurlock’s acclaimed ESPN documentary, The Dotted Line, Adam scripted a one-hour dramatic episodic based on Lee’s forthcoming book, My Brother’s Keeper: Above and Beyond “The Dotted Line” with the NFL’s Most Ethical Agent.
