I need a proficient coder who can help me customize the theme of my WordPress website, specifically related to the product interaction. I need the existing 'Add to Cart' functionality chagned to a 'Product Enquiry' option with (pop-up) form.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in WordPress theme customization
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and their use within WordPress
- Knowledge and experience in eCommerce operations and understanding the user journey will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Review, understand, and alter my website's existing theme coding (Astra)
- Change the 'Add to Cart' button to 'Product Enquiry' on 1 product page (this page will be replicated for all products)
- Ensure this new feature smoothly redirects the user to an enquiry form
- Testing the functionality to ensure smooth operation
This task will require a detailed understanding of WordPress code, particularly in Astra, and an efficient way of implementing user-friendly features. If you have a proven record of accomplished WordPress theme modulations and are passionate about creating usable interfaces, then you'd be perfect for this project.
