Ongoing Developer for WordPress redesign

We are looking for an experienced and passionate English speaking freelance WordPress Developer to join our team! As a WordPress Developer at our company, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development. Candidates should be able to lead development projects independently and work with minimal supervision and be able to produce work quickly. Responsibilities: • Redesigning and building the website front-end. • Work directly with Marketing Manager and CEO to produce final website • Work with team members to research and implement desired features through available WordPress plugins • Troubleshooting content issues. • Proactively perform cross-device testing and optimizations • Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability Requirements: • Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer (Editor, Themes, Plugins, WPEngine, Elementor), CSS, HTML, PHP, JQuery/JavaScript are required. Must also be experienced with Integrations (MailChimp, Form Integrations, etc.) • Ability to create high-quality designs and build into a functioning browser compatible website, using proper markup • Knowledge of trusted WordPress plugins • Experience working with Elementor strongly preferred • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics. • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines • Ability to work alone without supervision. Reliable and organized. • Strong English written and verbal communication skills • Problem-solver This is a freelance, remote position. Work will be on an as-needed basis and we will need you to be able to respond quickly to incoming work Monday - Friday between 9am-5pm EST.
