I have a problem "Too many connections" and I am blocked by my web host

This is the issue with my web host GVO.... IP [login to view URL] keeps being blocked when I do work on my wordpress sites.... GVO Reply to problem.... It was blocked before, please refer following logs: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- root@gvo238233 [~]# cat /var/log/[login to view URL] | grep [login to view URL] Jun 25 22:21:07 gvo238233 lfd[822181]: (CT) IP [login to view URL] (AU/Australia/-) found to have 146 connections - *Blocked in csf* for 1800 secs [CT_LIMIT] Jun 25 23:39:36 gvo238233 lfd[369651]: (CT) IP [login to view URL] (AU/Australia/-) found to have 103 connections - *Blocked in csf* for 1800 secs [CT_LIMIT] Jun 26 00:09:50 gvo238233 lfd[754303]: Incoming IP [login to view URL] temporary block removed Jun 26 00:09:50 gvo238233 lfd[754303]: Outgoing IP [login to view URL] temporary block removed ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have set the connection limit on the server and as per the logs you cross that limit. Your local machine creating more than 100 connections with the server and as per the security setting your ip blocked for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes your ip automatically unblocked. We know that you are facing this problem but if you want to solve this issue permanently then you need check your machine and uninstall unwanted browser plugins or addon. If you are using the email client then change the email read time from 1 minutes to 10 minutes. If any custom firewall is installed then update that settings. If you are using an old ftp client then use new latest ftp client to use the ftp service. Please let us know, if any misunderstanding or any further assistance. Looking forward to hear from you. I haven't changed anything on my computer to cause this. I haven't used addons , I use gmail not email client, I am not using ftp when this happens and have had the same ftp core ftp for 5 years. I need a proper outline of how to do this, not repeated vague instructions that are not helping.

Hi there, I have to agree to odessky's opinion, I would first of all try to check your computer vor any malware or viruses, I could do that for you during a remote session - usually I prefer teamviewer for that. In case your pc is clean I would then check your wordpress site, maybe there are a lot of asynchronous queries performed when you are logged in to edit the site,... Have installed any fancy plugins to your wordpress site? In case the cause for your problem is a virus/malware I guess the removal would take aproximately 3 hours (depending on your pc's performance / and the virus resistance). in case it is the site itself it is hard to tell how long it takes,...
