This is the case of an electrical device that will be 3D printed. All walls must be at least 1mm thick. The grid is in mm but if you think that something doesn’t quite line up just ask me about it. The white parts are where components of a fixed size will go. I will need to check cross sections and dimensions of components before final approval and am available to check over anything while you make it. I will need the file as a STL, STP and the native file format you work in. After this I will send it to the 3D printer to ensure that the model meets their requirement. When all requirements are met the job will be complete. There are 4 segments to this design. The cover (in green). The purpose of this is to divert any water droplets into the catchment area and away from the 2 main shafts. The curves in the schematic are inaccurate and you will need to use your expertise to work out something functional and aesthetically pleasing. For a general idea I have attached a photo which has similar curves (but inverted). The latch (in red). This is a cap to be placed on top of a disk shaped component. It needs to be pressed in and should lock in place when rotated. The end result will be flush with the curves of the cover (green) segment. Body (in navy). On the outside of the lower segment there should be ventilation holes. The style is shown in the links. Base plate (in blue). The PCB mount with 3 points is fine, but the other with 4 is not. There is a model in the links which measurements can be taken from. The hexagonal holes are for nuts and bolts so that it can be fastened in place. The 4 Arduino Uno PCB mounting points and size are the same as in this device: [login to view URL]:101985 I will also need ventilation in the bottom segment where the electrical components go. University of Queensland Graduate in Mechanical and Space engineering with over 5 years professional product development experience. Proposal: I regularly produce prototypes suitable for 3D printing and 3D print in house (FFF). I note that your design is largely thin wall section and lots of open cavities, neither of which are ideal for 3D printed parts. I can design it exactly as per your requirements and make suggestions for your evaluation to increase the success rate of your 3D printed prototype based on the 3D printing technology you are employing.
