The Designers Xchange is a way for those experienced in designing for 3D print to earn income through fulfilling paid project briefs ranging from $40 - $125.
These projects vary from simple CAD work from specific design blueprints, to much larger projects requiring the input of multiple designers skills via the Exchange. Many files created through the exchange are available for free download to others via the [url removed, login to view] platform.
The MyMiniFactory team cherry-picks designers to take part in the Exchange based on the files uploaded pro-bono to our file sharing platform. Designing for 3D printing requires its own skill-set, and understanding of parameters when it comes to creating a totally printable design, through our system of file validation and sharing, a relationship can be built over time whereby we can then offer paid design work that fits in with a designers availability, skills, and pay expectations.
