Nortel CS1000 Option 61 Reconfiguration - Dallas/Fort Worth Based Nortal/Avaya Expert Sought for GiG

Reconfigure Nortel CS-1000 in preparation for replacement with VOIP based call control platform. Goals: Phase 1: PRI isolation and redirection to VOIP PBX - Test a. remove a single PRI trunk (Four in total) to free up PRI circuit for PRI/SIP Gateway b. Configure PRI or Analog interfaces on CS1000 w/ Meridian 1 line cards to interface with PRI Gateway (Gateway will be used to interface to VOIP PBX via PRI interface) c. Existing VOIP engineer will configure VOIP PBX/Gateway and test call thru single PRI Phase 2: Replacing Call Pilot with VOIP PBX based Voicemail - Testing a. VOIP PBX will be configured to provide VM services (replace call pilot) by processing calls to existing DIDs and passing them to CS1000, after 30 seconds of no ringing, VOIP PBX will route all to VM. To support this CS1000 specialist will need to disable call pilot and perhaps tweak some call routing. Phase 3: Eliminate Call Pilot and Transition all PRI circuits to VOIP PBX Gateway a. In this phase the VOIP PBX will process inbound calls from all four PRI circuits and pass calls to both VOIP extensions and CS1000 based extensions, as needed, whilst team transitions from TDM phones to VOIP phones. The CS1000 Expert will need to configure CS1000 as appropriate to maintain this operational state. And provide ongoing support throughout the project as needed. Estimated Project Duration: Phase 1 & 2: one-two days Phase 3: One day onsight - "on call" thereafter Travel: Anticipate 3 days in midwest, Chicago, CS1000 Option 61 in Chicago with Defintity System in Indianapolis (emerging project). Other days/time in North Dallas location to remotely access system. Required Skills: 1. Avaya CS1000 Programming and Setup. CS1000 is VXWORKS base operating system. Knowledge of Meridian 1 line cards. This CS1000 was original Meridian-1 system that was upgraded to CS1000. 2. Knowlege of punch-down blocks, telco circuits (PRI, Analog) 3.
