I want to create timestamps from when users login in and logout of the company network.
I think a small script that runs on startup of windows or by manually running the script.
The GUI is a simple login box (that remembers the user credentials).
Login credentials should be Windows credentials.
When pressing "login" a timestamp+credential ID is sent to an archive SQL table.
When logging off or pressing (log off) the script automatically runs again to create a logoff timestamp + duration of session is sent to the archive SQL table.
Date and duration in hours and minutes is transferred to a separate sql table that is used for export. If date changes (time passes midnight) without logging out the script automatically logs out and sends the timestamp to the SQL. If automatic logout has been activated only 7,5 hours is transferred to the export sql table.
Script that tracks user session length and sends data to two SQL tables and the script minimizes to the active tasks in the process bar
