Hi! I'm very interested in this project. I worked in C++ writing a network based terminal synchronization module for an application, using both TCP and UDP for different purposes. I beleive I can help you build what you need using C++11/14 and Boost to provide an OS agnostic code that should compile in any OS (as long as you don't require me to include other libraries that make use of OS-specific system calls.
