Display variant images and titles on collection pages in Shopify

We would like to have the ability to display products in a collection on our Shopify store based on the variants. Quick example is the easiest way to explain: We sell phone cases, and have variants for various models of the iPhone. We would like to create a collection for iPhone XS Max, and would like the image on the title page to be the variant image of the iPhone XS Max version (instead of the standard featured image). If possible, we'd also like "- iPhone XS Max" tacked onto the end of the title. Furthermore, for that same model, we may have 4 different color variants of the iPhone XS Max size. We'd like the collection page to show each color, instead of just 1. Color can also be tacked onto the end of the title. Our site is not currently live, but we are using a filtering app that may effect the application, which can be reviewed here: [login to view URL] The theme we use is Responsive Theme: [login to view URL] Basically we'd like to do what this app does, but think this app is way overpriced and haven't found alternatives: [login to view URL] There are several tutorials on how to accomplish this but I'm not familiar enough with the code to be able to implement it myself: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] TO CLARIFY WHAT SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED: 1. Ability to be turned on or off for each collection 2. When turned on, the collection page should show the Variants of each product in the collection as standalone products, utilizing the variant's image, instead of showing 1 parent product with the featured image 3. Each variant displayed should use the parent title with the Variant option title tacked onto the end (for example, "iPhone Case" with variant options Model and Color would become "iPhone Case - iPhone XS, Blue" and "iPhone Case - iPhone XS, Red", etc) 4. When the variant is clicked, the URL leads directly to the parent page with the correct variant selected 5. Ability to limit the variants that are displayed, either manually or preferably by simply selecting a specific Variant option. For example, if we have an iPhone case that has an iPhone X model and an iPhone 11 model, each in 4 colors, we want to be able to have an "iPhone X" collection that will only display the 4 iPhone X variants, not all 8 variants In an effort to filter out Spam bids, if you've actually read through this please start your bid comments with LOREM IPSUM.
