What it takes to be successful in this role is previous experience in the following:
• Extensive experience searching on the Web.
• Excellent organization and communication skills (especially written communications)
Although not required, the following are desirable in the candidate:
• Experience managing Web content.
• Sales experience
• Familiarity with search engine optimization techniques
• Good understanding of use of website traffic/log analysis tools
• Hands-on optimization experience, including keyword/phrase research, site structure, page construction, content, and SEO copywriting
• Analyzing web traffic patterns
• Creating reports for web site traffic and SEM/SEO efforts
• Researching and understanding the latest search engine algorithms, rules, techniques and trends.
