As a former elementary school teacher and current freelance writer, I understand the needs of a child of this age regarding this type of project. As a teacher, I worked in a charter school with children of exceptional academic abilities, and if your daughter is writing a book on her financial heroes, it sounds like she would have fit into that school beautifully. She is just the type of student I am used to working with as a teacher. As a writer, I can guide her in her writing, helping her be more focused, organized, and clear in what she is saying on the page. I can also assist with teaching her how to do appropriate research, cite sources, and to come up with an outline for the project. In addition, helping her communicate using excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation would be a priority, all the while taking into consideration her age and current level of abilities. In short, this is a project you could hire me to perform with full confidence in knowing I am able to do it competently, compassionately, and patiently, and that I have prior experience working with children and their writing. Presently a director of a private international education company, I have many years experience as both an English teacher and a business person. In my role as director I have generated instructional material, promotional literature for both web and permanent copy, financial reports and proposals. I have a Masters of Education, a BA in English, some law study, and a Graduate Diploma of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I have travelled widely, particularly in China and other parts of Asia, and have a broad range of interests. Consequently, I am able to write in many different subject areas. I can work to instructions and meet deadlines. I am a hard-nosed editor and can shape up a piece quickly with a sharp awareness of what the writer 'is going for,' even though it may be in a specialist subject area. I work towards customer satisfaction. If your publication has need of an inventive writer, proofreader or editor to bring something though on deadline you will find my work an asset. All my work will be delivered by telecommuting. In the case of your daughter's book, it is a little unusual but I would be happy to work with her on the project by distance. I have read most of Kiyosaki's books, a bit of Buffet and so forth because I am a business person with projects of my own. It's an interesting project for one so young to write such a book and I think she would need a mature influence to pull it together even though I am sure she has brilliant insight and a strong calling or she would not do such a thing. My bid is somewhat blind as I am not sure what exactly would be involved at this point; therefore, consider my bid just a guess in this situation. I have quite a lot of experience with young people as a teacher and like kids. I have twin granddaughters of my own. I know also that your daughter, given her age, will need someone that she feels comfortable with and I cannot say with certainty that that person would be me but I would be willing to put my best into the project. For this kind of job I would probably require some kind of milestone payment part-way through because it may take a while to accomplish. Anyway, please consider me as a candidate. I have coached several writers, including University students writing papers, and foreign-language authors writing books in English. I think this sounds like a fascinating project. I know nothing of your daughter\'s heroes, but that\'s an advantage in this case, as it will require your daughter to communicate very thoroughly, in order to gain my understanding of the subject.
