Implement functionality to track the price data over time and identify specific price points, such as highs and lows.
Use the identified price points to draw the Fibonacci extension tool. For example, starting at the low of 20,then a high of 31, and finally a lower high 27. It's important to identify previous highs of this impulse move, breaking at least 2 or 3 previous highs (to put 1, 2, or 3 highs as an option in the code). This will involve calculating the Fibonacci extension levels based on the three identified points, and plotting them on the chart.
Configure the program to only show the first 5 Fibonacci levels (0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and 1).
Generate a buy signal when the price hits the 0.25 level after reaching and closing above the 0.5 level for shorts and longs entries.
We have an initial code that has some issues which we could discuss in details to reach our desired results. One thing to emphasis is that we do not want the depth to be used, we only need the previous highs and lows in order to determine the validity of the code. Additionally we want to create a bot that longs and shorts according to the indicator.
It's important to also include profit taking and stop lose options which we can set it up based on the Fibonacci extension.
We prefer to have the bots in 3commas and the indicators in trading-view.
