We are an Atlanta, GA-based management consulting firm that works with businesses across the country. The company works with companies to help them create strategic advantage, identify and overcome obstacles to growth, improved efficiency and valuation and implement solutions and plans. The company offers advisory, management consulting and outsourced services to companies with revenue between $250k to $20M in revenue.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Web Designer who will be responsible for creating great websites for our clients. Primary duties include conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for client websites, as well as creating visual elements that are in line with our clients' branding, design standards and specifications.
Job Functions:
Essential Experience and capabilities:
o Plans site design by clarifying goals; designing functionality.
o Develops site navigation by categorizing content; funneling traffic through content.
o Develops site content and graphics by coordinating with copywriters and graphic artists; designing images, icons, banners, audio enhancements, etc.
o Prepares site by installing and configuring server software; installing programming language using authoring and formatting tools; ensuring cross-platform compatibility; establishing links.
o Establishes locatability by registering with search engines.
o Upgrades site by updating content and graphics; monitoring performance and results; identifying and evaluating improvement options; introducing new technology; maintaining links.
o Protects site by designing and installing security precautions.
o Maintains site appearance by developing and enforcing content and display standards; editing submissions.
o Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
o Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
o Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
o Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Requirements:
o Should have abilities in logo, web design, working with brand guides/standards, fonts, digital collateral and brochures, white paper layouts - print and digital
o Comfortable with communicating and working closely with our web development team to ensure a proper and hassle-free implementation
o Commitment to excellence
o Positive attitude with a sense of urgency to complete work
o Must complete work on time every time
o Must have a good attitude and pleasant demeanor
o Must have good communications skills
o Must have an entrepreneurial mindset, always seeking ways to do things better and more effectively/efficiently
o 3, 6 or 9 months commitment
o No more than 10 hours per week
Salary
o Part time position
o Rates based on experience and expertise
o This is a project-based position
