Creating of a CRM / CMS tool in Access Database – offline- no cloud solution. I need a sophisticated CRM tool to be programed especially for me. Currently all information I store on a very big excel file. I don’t know now to use Access MS very well. So it must be very easy to be used, with buttons which simplify the usage of the of the tools such as “Create a new Profile”, *export to Excel”, Upload from Excel, Print, Print as PDF etc etc. Those buttons will have to be defined further in the process. The freelancer must be patient and be willing to develop it together. He will first have to present me a draft of the design and basic functions so we can further develop from here. For all which will be mentioned here, the tool will need a lot of sorting functions, be able to extract information and upload information from an existing (but not complete) excel file. There must be many sorting options, filter options like in Excel, easy to use. I guess there will be some VBA coding involved to simplify the tool. I need a very easy form or surface to fill in the new data, I need an easy way to access the current data and an easy way to upload existing excel file as well as extracting selected contacts to an excel file. So upload and download of the information is important. The Program should not be cloud based. I want to use if offline only. The file will be on Dropbox or googledrive. Content I need a simple way of adding information about my contacts. All sorts of information about Name, Address (private and office), Family, Office information (contact details about secretary and colleagues), multiple Email addresses, Internet sides, hobby, languages they speak, interests they have etc etc. The tool should be very dynamic so I can adjust any sort of information. I need to be able to add any new information and fields any time in any place. It must be accessable to several persons, so I need several user profiles where I can administrate the passwords and users. It must be password protected 1. Contacts - So it is like a very sophisticated address book with very detailed information available to enter and filter, upload and download and extract. 2. Business Development - In addition, I want to store information about meetings I have had or conversations I have had. That should be easy to be filled in. click on the contact and click on a button to fill the meeting and make notes about what we discussed, what is the target and what needs to be done (to do list). 3. Notes – I want a section for notes where I can add any sort of free text. 4. Documents – i need a section where I can add any sort of document to the contact. Ideally a drag and drop function to add several files (pdf, excel, word, pictures, videos etc) 5. Reports - I want to be able to printout a report about every person and have all the information on a paper, starting with the data-block about the data about the person, followed by the second block which contains the meeting reports and emails etc etc. Very important is that I can add as many keywords per contact as possible. For example FOOTBALL, GOLF, REAL ESTATE etc etc. So I can create customized emails to certain groups and offer them what I need and I can use if for newsletters. I need to be able to filter all information and group certain contacts. 6. Very important – any field should have no limit to enter data. I have a very big excel sheet with lots of data in various fields. So no restrictions to the size. 7. Emailing – I need to be able to send customized mass email out of the filtered criteria. If you programmed this before, please show me the example. If it is better than what I suggest I am happy to buy the existing one. I want to solution to look nice, not only functional only but easy to use. Potentially the option to embed a logo. At the end I need to be able to import and export existing Excel file.

Hello I am an exclusive MS Access developer completely dedicated to this platform - I do not work on any other database. I am also among the top three MS Access developers on this site. You can verify by going to https://www.freelancer.com/freelancers/skills/Microsoft_Access/ I am highly impressed by job description - you really know what you want. Such clarity is a BIG help for developers like me (Believe me - this is a major issue in most of my projects!). Designing user friendly data entry forms is quite easy in Access. The most complicated part of the project will be to design a highly sophisticated module to search your contacts by any or multiple criteria. This will take the most time. Next in complexity will be the login module with different user rights. Other modules that import/export excel data and connecting the db to MS Outlook to send mails will be relatively easy. The only issue that I see is your requirement that there should be no limit on field size, Access text field allow a max of 255 characters - memo fields allow for unlimited data. However using multiple memo fields is usually not advisable - we might need to discuss this in detail. I estimate that this will take about 10 days to complete. Hi, I have a lot of experience in multiuser Access applications. I think that if you managed your Contacts in Excel before then you will find Access such a joy to use that a couple of hours coaching will help you more than getting someone to write an application for you, but if you really want an access application written for you,there are a couple of questions. 1. Is there a possibility that two users want to use the database simultaneously? In this case you will have problems with putting the Database on Dropbox or Google Drive because the last save will overwrite the the changes made by the previous user 2. The tool should be very dynamic so I can adjust any sort of information. I need to be able to add any new information and fields any time in any place. Does this mean you want to add a field to a form and have it appear automatically in all reports, queries and tables? 3. What version of MS Access do you have? 4. Have you seen the the MS Access 2016 template for 'Customer Contacts' ?
