We need someone to come in and possibly re write the search query in the back end of my website because the way it’s been coded up its not working correctly and it’s inefficient and convoluted. The top search bar you can type in what you want your workout to contain (e.g I want to tone up my arms and legs) and it will then (supposed to) based of you key words pick up all workouts with the key words in and then order them by best match. The issue is the order by isn’t workout correctly for; 1. Best match (this is a simple % algorithm we have but it’s not working as it should) 2. If we put a number in the search box e.g 100 it should order by this number as a maximum on the time however this isn’t working 3. The other sort by options aren’t working correctly after a search 4. Some of the key words aren’t working e.g Blip = Increase Fitness (Get Fit). Put Blip into the search bar and it will show workouts with Increase Fitness. Some of the key words arnt working. Untimely we need the search code to be redone simply so it works. The way it is now in the back end you’d think we was running google.
