We are a group of software developers and would like to bid on this project. We have a few solutions for developing your application. For the backend, we would recommend developing it using Nodejs and expose API's for communication. Alternatively we can have the whole thing developed on PHP without exposing API's. For the frontend , we can integrate the existing template with AJAX to communicate with the backend. If we want, we can convert it to a single page application using react.
