PHP Socket.io example

At present we refresh the page to see changes in data on the page, we would like to do this seamlessly without the refresh. When you go into your email client the email messages are highlighted as unread and when you click on them they show as red. You will produce a simple DB that has a table in it containing the example subjects. messageId, Subject 1 messageId, Subject 2 messageId, Subject 3 User userrid, messagid You will provide 3 examples pages. For simplicity the user will enter their userid in the page url [login to view URL] 1st example We will open the list on two computers in the browser Initially they will all be bold to show unread, as user one click on a line, it changes to un bold and is replicated to user twos browser 2nd example As per example one, this time you will remove the item from the list of the person that has NOT red it. 3rd example As per previous you will remove the item from both peoples list when they have been read. You will provide 3 separate documented pages to show how you have implemented this. You will provide 3 php pages Any include files Mysql database To be considered, you must provide an example of where you have implemented this style of technology.
