PHP file management VERY SIMPLE

NO database work needed whatsoever.

what I am looking for is to have someone create some functions:

1) "UpLoad_mg($step,$prefix)" this function will be called after a file has been uploaded to a server, it will server a couple functions, each step will be described below however this is to be a single function:

STEPA - Extract the contents of the zip file that is uploaded to a pre-determined temp folder (this will be step 1, this part is simple, I have a working version of this part already, just isn't quite clean on the back end as it leaves some wierd permissions issues and I cannot delete the folder after I'm done.)

STEPB - will rename all images within the sub-folder of the extracted zip file to include at the beginning the "prefix" assigned.

then move them to the "images" directory

STEPC - this is the cleanup section, the zip file and all files / folders created in STEPA (within the temp extraction directory) are to be removed at this point.

I should be able to run my other code in between each this is why I need the function to handle different steps.

steps a & c do NOT need the 2nd variable ($PREFIX), only the step B needs this.

example of what I will be doing is:

html form submits a file to the server .....

php code runs:

$step="A"; $prefix="";

UpLoad_mg($step,$prefix);

//run my other code here

$step="B"; $prefix="1101080008_";

UpLoad_mg($step,$prefix);

//run my other code here

$step="C"; $prefix="";

UpLoad_mg($step,$prefix);

//anything else I want / need to do from that point.

as for variables:

the upload directory is defined at a variables page

the images directory is defined at a variables page

I think the description is relatively clean and straight foreward, please there is no other information I will provide about the remainder of the project or what else will be done in between, just need to break down where and how I requested. seperate functions would be acceptable, but not the prefered method.

you will NOT have ftp access to my server, therefore I will need to make sure that you are available for about 1/2 hour after delivery to make sure everything is working.

I also realize this is a VERY small project, and would expect that it be completed within a couple of hours of awarding, as I need this done by 6am my time (GMT -6)

there may be other parts I may run across a need for help so when you bid let me know if you would be available for work yet at this time no 2 day deliveries.
