This project involves technical web development to result in what we are calling a Proposal Wizard. At a high level, the system we'd like to develop must do the following:
* User enters required information into a web form and clicks submit
* That info is dropped into an online database
* System must allow for ad hoc reporting on that data by Administrators
* Resident on the server are 3 templates, one each of MS-Word, XL and .PPT
* The system opens the XL template
* Data from web form is inserted into corresponding cells of the XL file
* The system saves this new version as an editable XL file
* The system then opens the MS-Word template
* A macro runs to copy the pricing output from the XL file into the MS-Word template (macro is written already)
* The system must also run a FIND and REPLACE to find “Company Name” and replace it with the Customer Name originally entered via the web form
* Another macro copies the TCO info from the XL file into the .PPT (macro written already)
* All 3 customized versions are then saved to a folder on the server
* Those 3 documents are then attached to an email and sent to the user
* A notification email is also sent to an administrator
* It is not necessary to keep copies of the 3 documents on the server
