Develop an elasticsearch based search engine for ecommerce portal

We are developing a hyperlocal ecommerce portal. We have around 10,000 product database. This database is very detailed and searchable e.g. we have nutritional facts of food products, manufacturer, ingredients etc. Right now you can find the product based on allergy or low in calorie or high in calcium etc. We want to implement elasticsearch such that when a user is typing in search box the products below start showing dynamically with every press of button; the categories/filters start updating dynamically on the left hand side. I am not talking about dropdown autofill menu. One example to look at would be [login to view URL] We have already implemented part of elasticsearch i.e. you can search products from textbox with hints/autofill showing up. But there is still quite a bit to do before we can make it live.
