Customized an already existing template

We purchase this template lately [login to view URL] and intend on using the functionalities it provides. As it is a template, we have realized that many people are using it and they all look the same except some changes in the texts and in the logo and whatnot, reason why we would like to have it redesigned but still with all the existing functionalities working as they should be, meaning working as they are working now. We don't have a particular design in mind, reason why we want someone who is very creative and who can come up with a very good and slick design that can set us apart from the competition. It doesn't matter if the new design is after that completely different than the original, the main important thing is that the functionalities are still working and that we are still able to manage the content and the layout with the actual admin interface of WordPress. In your bid, please provide a portfolio *AND* very important some work that you have already done in customization by showing us a before- and after-customization that you have successfully achieved. Failure to do so will result in your bid not being considered because we will see that as a failure on your side to read the whole description of the project.
