Configure LDAP in our test server

We have a PHP project which will lookup for users within the active directory. We have tried to install the LDAP in our Windows 2008 test server. The job is to check the settings, configure it properly and to add a few test records. That's it. Pretty simple and basic. Once configured we will test it from the PHP scripts to make sure it's connecting correctly. We will do this in ourselves but you should provide help on the LDAP side if we have some trouble connecting to it. Ex. a firewall or anything.
