We are looking for a freelancer with a strong backend development skills to build a fast and scalable web admin system and mobile apis for an e-commerce like (not actually e-commerce but similar features) product. You must be comfortable with:
● One backend framework (php/rails/python) and SQL/NoSQL databases
● Fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
● Experience with e-commerce or other image heavy platforms
● Other presentation-layer languages (e.g. HTML, CSS, javascript, etc) are a plus
● Building mobile APIs
● DevOp technologies in the *nix world, such as a variety of Linux flavors, Git, Docker, Apache, Nginx, MySQL, Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq, DNS, HTTP, IP routing/networking.
The project will include:
- Complex searching and matches based on 20+ tags (this is critical and needs to be instantaneous)
- All basic e-commerce features
- APIs for a native mobile application for these features
