Add 3D to a 2D video inspection package

Hello, We have a 2 D Video inspection package written in C++ using MFC as the GUI interface. We need to add the third dimension to it. The software already has a z axis and references it in some of the software but the measurement routines will have to be updated to support full 3D. We also will need to implement a touch trigger probe in the software and handle the approach vector and the off sets the the calibratied video edge. The graphic engine is a roll your own OpenGl based rendering engine. DXF import is already supported. In the future we will add Iges and step. A knowledge of C++, opengl nad preferably CMMs is preferred.
