RegEx English Nouns

Objective: Summary: Improve RegEx text searching by including singular, plural, and possessive forms in the text search for an occurrance of a word. Details: 1. Accept string input. Assume it is an English noun. Using RegEx, determine if it is a singular noun (or derive the singular form with the rules for REGULAR nouns from the following website <[login to view URL]> or the short list and rules for IRREGULAR nouns from this website <[login to view URL]~wwwesl/egw/crump.htm#ListFive> 2. Test the singular form against spellchecker by Keyoti (free demo available for your use from <[login to view URL]>). 3. If test passes, return the following 4-6 forms of the original input string, as csv string: a. Singular b. Plural c. Singular Possessive d. Plural Possessive [For the next 2 forms, develop a simple xml file with 6 fields per record from the list of irregular forms and foreign words on the [login to view URL] website below. This will be the source for irregular/foreign word lookup -- eg small internal list taken from this website, not a website lookup) e. Alternate Plural (from <[login to view URL]~wwwesl/egw/crump.htm#ListFive>, foreign words with alternative acceptable forms- will be empty for most words) f. Alternate Plural Possive (from <[login to view URL]~wwwesl/egw/crump.htm#ListFive>, foreign words with alternative acceptable forms- will be empty for most words) 4. If the singular form does not pass the spellchecker test, then it is likely not an English noun. Return empty string. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
