Website is required for users to create profile and store details of the UK locations/routes they've visited or travelled and when (and how frequently) they visit them. E.g. a user can create profile and log when and where they visited on a holiday to the UK including time ranges and frequencies.
I have already put some code together which should help some of the deliverables.
Examples of the coders previous work along similar lines will help the selection process. There is likely to be some fleshing out of the requirements (either before or after coder selection) so please do not hesitate to ask.
My focus is on solid professional code, not on a quick delivery. This is phase 1 of the project, so there is potential for more income to follow!
Please also note that the focus of this phase is to achieve a fully functioning, working, technical solution. Aesthetics at this point are less important, however the code should be modular enough to allow for subsequent design changes.
I have done my own php and mysql coding (see <[url removed, login to view]> for example) and would probably use the existing layout design for the new site (main menu along top with submenus along the side). I would need the code to be written to be able to fit into this design and I will be reviewing the code after it's written to integrate it. If I'm happy with the Phase I work, we can discuss further requirements)
## Deliverables
1) Complete a fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
