2 Changes to existing Wordpress plugin

We are using a shortcode that provides front-end functionality of this plugin: [url removed, login to view]
We need to make two small changes to the functionality. Login and check it out before you accept the project:

The changes we need...
1. If a someone uses the 'Add Gift' icon, the gift is not saved on the reminder in the list below. It SHOULD allow you to either select a gift that was already added in the '+ Add a Gift Idea' area (you can already do this, but it doesn't save) OR add a new gift and link right there that saves on the gift name on the reminder and ALSO the name and link on the list in the '+ Add a Gift Idea' area.
2. If a someone uses the 'Send To' icon, the placeholder text should read: 'Enter Email' not 'Choose Users'. Also, the plugin should NOT prompt you to select from a list of other users. It should only allow you to add an email OR select from emails that you (as a specific user) have sent reminders to previously.
