Dear developers,
We want to develop a small project which has dynamic content extracted from a PostgreSQL database.
Basic requests:
-multilingual interface
-CSS support
-database connection
-auto refresh with Ajax technology
The website will be integrated in a win32 application for customer support purpose. When the application starts it will start the index page with 4 input parameters: email address, client ID, username and language ID.
The site contains 3 static menus: News, Versions and Support center.
The News page is displaying news published by the application developer and stored in html format in a database table. The functionality is like Facebook News feed, auto refreshing news and infinite scroll. We will publish 3 types of news: small, large and video news. Every type of news will have at least 2 types of displaying, described with CSS for example the small news can be published with small picture and long text or with bigger image and shorter text or image at right side, text at left, etc. Every news has a category and the user can filter the news. For example we have the following categories: lifestyle news, fashion news and sport news, the users can filter the news in a quick menu placed on the left side of the page (like groups on the Facebook page).
The next menu is the Version information of the application. The architecture of the menu will be the same as the previous menu, News, but we will publish the improvements, solved issues of the application. Every version information has a category like the news which can be filtered.
The third menu is the support center which displays the support tickets posted by the user, by his company or by everyone. The tickets will be displayed in a grid style table with subject, posted by, posting date and time, status (opened, approved, solved, closed). In the left side menu there will the next filter: My tickets, My company tickets, All tickets and Post new ticket. The user can post or submit a new ticket which consists in a subject, description and attachments (1 or more). When a ticket is posted it will have opened status. After the approval it will be marked as approved, so everyone who is watching the support center can answer or solve the ticket. When the user, who posted the ticket accepts the solution, it will be marked as approved.
I attached a draft to my post, where ypu can see the News page (without the filter). We will provide more picture about the design later.
