(Please refer to website) Job description: I am the manager of La Vie Zen Spa, a high-end day spa in midtown Manhattan. Right now, we have a website that has been solely created in Flash ([login to view URL]), but we would like to redesign our site in html. I am looking for a web developer/designer. Depending on the outcome of the website, we may want you to redesign and print business cards and other marketing materials. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Programming languages: PHP, HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, ActionScript, and jQuery is a plus. (Enough knowledge to fulfill the above requirements effectively) I need someone to create and maintain an html website for the spa with the following specifications: - ability to create your own and/or send online gift certificates - ability to purchase/order products from our website in a secure browser (about 50 products, I can provide data entry that involves minor programming) - have all our promotions on our front page, easily seen (but not too heavily advertised) - the possibility of being able to book appointments online at some point in the future should we decide on this (we are currently using the Salon Iris system) - A style that reflects our spa, which is a medium-sized, family-run, personalized, clean and zen-like, and Asian/European inspired. - We are looking for a site that is simple, calm, classy, and clean. It could be a combination of flash and regular html. - My two favorite layouts from our competitors are Exhale Spa and Red Door Spa. If selected for the job, I will provide a list of our competitor's websites with our thoughts on their design. Could you please provide a competitive quote for the development of a website with the following specifications? I am looking for the lowest bid that also has the best development to meet our budget. Also, please provide us with your resume as well as a portfolio.
