E-Book Reader for Windows

We're seeking an experienced developer with Windows Application programming to provide an E-Book Reader for both PDF and EPUB files with the following requirements : General Features • It's highly recommended that the developer has experience with similar applications, credits will be given to developers with similar solution in portfolio • Deliverable should be the full source code project • Supports both EPUB and PDF files • The application is mainly linked to an online book store where users log-in user their accounts and retrieve a list of their purchased books • The application can be used as a general reader for external PDF and EPUB files ( separate from purchased books ), .epub /.pdf file extension must be associated with our application • User can open webview inside the app to purchase new books/check his account • Book library, Bookmarks, Notes … etc are all synchronized across all reader on other platforms ( iOS, Android ) • Pages turn like real page ( page curl ) Use Scenario 1) User logs-ins using his email/password 2) User sees a book-shelf with all downloaded books that he can read offline right-away 3) User can search book-shelf for books using keywords ( book, author, description, publisher ) 4) User can navigate to other section where he sees already purchased books that are not yet downloaded, can download any book to become readable offline 5) User can search purchased books using keywords ( book, author, description, publisher ) 6) Upon opening a book, the reader takes the reader automatically to the last page he was in 7) User can display TOC ( EPUB ONLY ) 8) User can create bookmarks to save where he stopped last time reading 9) User can select text and create notes ( EPUB ONLY ) 10) User can highlight text with 3 different colors 11) User can resize text +/- ( EPUB ONLY ) 12) User can zoom in/out the book ( PDF ONLY ) 13) User can share text/passages from book ( EPUB ONLY ) 14) User can search book content using keywords ( EPUB ONLY ) 15) Reader supports EPUB3, so that direction and other RTL languages related issues are fixed automatically ( Should support ARABIC books perfectly ) Security Features 1) Downloaded book files are encrypted, they cannot be parsed in any way other than opening them in our reader 2) Books cannot be printed Other Notes • We'll provide ALL APIs needed to get/post information to the remote server • We'll provide ALL mockups/graphic /UI/ art work for the application For reference Attached Screenshots for similar apps : • iOS reader • Windows Reader Also it's helpful to take a look at ADOBE DIGITAL EDITION as e-book reader
