Hello! i have currently got a tracking script for my blogtoplist. everyone that signs up gets a tracking code that they put on my website and when they do my script starts to track their visitors. the problem with my current script is that it is using up huge amounts of power from my server, the php code is very small so i suspect that it is the table in the database where i store all ips from all websites that is the thing causing this. this one table contains over a million ips. Im looking for someone that is a professional programmer and can program and fix this issue good and fast. This should be an easy task for someone who is good at these sort of things! if you know you are the right man for the job PM me! or if you have any questions PM me! I have 7+ years experience with PHP and MySQL. I have worked with plenty of mysql databases that store ip addresses. What you might want to check if the script is inputting the ip address more than once into the database. If that is not the case, then I would suggest setting up a CRON job that deleted old ip checks. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.

I have experience tracking access using IP addresses. I wrote C# code that actually watched a port and parsed the incomming data. I watched for only LOGINs, and then I mapped the IP to the USERS name. I am sure I can help you.
