Simple Website Management CMS is required to be done in PHP / MySql

A detailed Scope is mentioned - Milestones shall be created based on your performance

General Specifications

Basic HTML design is ready, the project involves only minimal changes to HTML Design

• Web Site Shall have Search Engine Friendly URLs

• Name of the pages shall be same as Title of the page (Suggestions welcome)

• Breadcrumbs to be displayed on all Pages Home>Category>Sub Category>Page name

• If technically possible (not hard and fast) all pages created by CMS shall be HTML

• Code shall have proper commenting for future reference

• CMS shall have descriptive tool tips, alerts and results displayed for a novice user to easily understand the functionality

CMS Specifications

A) MENU Management

1) Manage Left Menu (Add / Edit / Delete)

a. Will Have 3 nested Categories (Lcat0 – Lcat1 – Lcat2)

b. All Categories at the final stage can be Linked to a Page. This page shall be created using the CMS. Specification on what features are required for this page are listed below in the “Inner Page” specifications. After adding Category CMS should allow i) add Subcat OR ii) Add page (which shall be linked to it)

2) Manage Top Menu

a. Will Have 2 nested Categories (Tcat0 – Tcat1) All Categories at the final stage can be Linked to a Page. This page shall be created using the CMS. Specification on what features are required for this page are listed below in the “Inner Page” specifications. After adding Category CMS should allow i) add Subcat OR ii) Add page (which shall be linked to it)

B) HOME PAGE

Home page shall have left and top menu. There shall be other small elements such as Banner, Embedded Universal player (JWPlayer), Editable Table, External Links, Google Search Box, Google Translate, AddThis bar, Feedback Form, Subscribe, Sitemap, About Us etc. All this should be editable / controlled via the CMS

C) INNER PAGE

1) Add / Edit / Delete Pages.

This module shall be called from Menu Management screen at the time of adding categories / sub categories and shall be linked to that particular menu item. OR this menu can be independently called to create an orphaned page without any link to any menu.

In both cases the URL of the page shall have to be displayed in the CMS for external linking

All inner page files shall be stored in Separate folders (within Pages folder) created as per Menu Cat – Sub cat names (eg. /Pages/Cat/SubCat/[url removed, login to view])

All pages have fixed elements which can be added / edited / deleted from CMS

a. Title (shall contain text)

b. Full box (shall contain text or Image)

c. Left box (shall contain text or Image)

d. Right box (shall contain text or Image)

e. Strong Line

f. Embedded Real Audio Player (link to a file separately uploaded / external)

g. Embedded MP3 Player (link to a file separately uploaded / external)

h. Embedded Video / FLV Player (link to a file separately uploaded / external)

i. Force Download link to a file (PDF / MP3 / RA / FLV / PPT etc)

Note:

image added to the boxes on the page shall more than one and should be displayed one below the other, Images shall be either uploaded using the CMS or linked. All uploaded Images should be stored in a separate folder (Within Images folder eg. /images/title/[url removed, login to view]), name of the folder shall be same as the name of the file / title. File name of the uploaded image shall have file naming convention of <title><serial number>

For text edition any WYSIWYG text editor such as TinyMCE can be used

D) Site Map

An auto Sitemap should be created which clearly defines the navigation based on Cat – SubCat – SubSubCat - Title

E) Miscellaneous

a. Minor tweaks to HTML / CSS design in order to add some components / Scripts

b. Feedback Form

c. Adding external CSS / Data Feeds

d. Adding / incorporating small components
