49808 Author Submission Script(2)

Hello, I am preparing to start a new site. I am currently looking for a script to help run the site. I hope you can help. This project is being re-listed, as a lack of togetherness did not allow the last programmer and I to get the project going. I am serious about this project, and I would like to see it happen soon. The site I have in mind will publish the works of authors. I would like the authors to be able to submit their work to me for review and approval, and then publish the work from my review screen, or if necessary, deny the work. Upon publishing, or denying the work, I would like the script to send an email explaining the chosen action. However, I would like to be able to choose the appropriate email with a check box, and to be able to edit the emails on the same page. For example, at the top of the page, I want the script to show me the work, at the bottom of the page will be two text boxes. The one text box will have an email congratulating the author, and the other will have an email explaining that the submission has been rejected. Both should also have a box above them for the subject. Both boxes will allow me to edit the text. I will click a box next to the appropriate email, and then click submit at the bottom of the page, and the work will be archived, then published or put in a folder for unpublished work only accessible by myself. I would like to have the site broken down into genres, then into categories. The categories may or may not have sub-categories. When a work is published, I would like a link placed in the category (or sub-category) chosen by the author. The link should point to the work, which should be published as a spiderable (is that a word?) page. I need publishers to have the ability to publish articles on their own sites via RSS. I would also like everyone to be able to email him or herself a copy of the article in html or text. These features are crucial. Each article page needs, at the very least a link to the category the article is found in and the homepage. A directory at the bottom of each page would certainly be helpful. The author submitting the work must submit their first and last name, email address, the category to place the work in, the title of the work, a brief description of their work (what it pertains to, the purpose of the work), the work itself, and a note to the admin of the site. I would like there to be an “About the Author” page for each author that submits an article. This page would allow the author to upload a picture of themselves, a brief description of themselves, their interests, area of expertise, a link to their website, and links to all of their articles in our database. The authors must be able to edit and upload all info themselves, but I must also be able to edit the pages. The “About the Author” pages must only be available to those that have submitted works, and if I could have the ability to change the number of works submitted, I would appreciate that as well. I would also like the email addresses to be archived. I would like to be able to email each person that has submitted a work individually, or all authors at once, as well as all authors in a given category. I would like to be able to search the database of works by the author's name, the date submitted, the title of the work, the email address associated with the work, or all works in the category. I need to be able to edit every page easily. I would prefer to be able to edit every page in a control panel. Also, at the very least, every article page needs a banner rotator, and on the side of the page approximately two boxes to advertise related affiliate products. I must be able to edit the banners and affiliate products for all pages in one place. I would prefer the site to be template based to allow for easy design changes as well. The last programmer mentioned programming in mod-rewrite to allow this to happen. As I know little about programming, the language you choose will be up to you. I would like to have a one-page ad randomly show before a visitor sees an article. The page would have a link towards the bottom saying click here to continue to the article. The type of ad would be similar to the ads you see when logging into your paypal account, the pages offering you their credit cards. I would prefer the database application to be mysqul or something comparable. Flat files will not cut it. Before I forget, the script must be built with the idea that the public will see all aspects of the script. While it is likely they will only see the submission side, I may want to show off the admin side periodically. Make me proud to show your work. The script should allow html integration easily. I would also like to make it known now that you may have to work with the designer I choose later to ensure the successful integration and professional look of the entire project. If you are a designer as well, please indicate that, and we will work out the design project separately. I know this is long and I would like to thank you for reading it. If you know of a script that is similar to what I am looking for, and would allow me to do many of the things mentioned, please be honest and suggest it. Upon the payment, I will expect the script to be installed on two sites with databases created and functioning properly. You will also need to provide a one-month support period to allow for debugging the script once it has been put to work. Think of it as a warrantee. If your work is good, then this one-month won't mean any extra effort on your part. Finally, it must be understood that upon successful payment for the script, that I will own all rights. This is critical, and if you cannot agree to that, I cannot work with you. I look forward to bids and feedback. I have big plans for this script. If I like what I see, I will have one additional job for you, along with a lifetime of work and hopefully dozens of new clients.
