dd-wrt hotspot ticket printer(repost)

The aim of the project is to create a script which, when the AOSS button on the router is pressed, will instruct a wireless router running a linux-based firmware to query a user-password value pair from a MYSQL database (over TCP/IP) and print them to a serial ticket printer. The purpose of this is to create a 'ticket' that a wireless hotspot user can use to gain access to wireless internet in our hotspots. Different routers must draw the user/password value pairs from a different table in the database so will need a way to customise the script for different routers. Perhaps a script generation page that will take a variable for 'table name' and insert into the code which can then be copied in to the router. Technical details: The router is a Buffalo WHR-54GS. The firmware is DD-WRT v23 SP2 [login to view URL]). The serial driver is a MAX3232CPE IC with simple RX/TX only (no hardware handshaking). The button is the AOSS button on the Buffalo WHR-54GS. The directories that DD-WRT searches for scripts are: /etc/config/ /jffs/etc/config/ /mmc/etc/config/ /tmp/etc/config/ The extension for the script to ensure that it is run when the AOSS button is depressed is .sesbutton The printer currently in testing is a Dymo Labelwriter 330, but any inexpensive serial-port label or ticket printer will do. If you can make any recommendations on this it would be appreciated, but the cost for the printer must be under $150 USD. The script must not interfere with any of the existing functionality of the router. The database server is linux/apache/mysql/php. The username/password pairs are ASCII text and are 8 characters long each with mixed small case numbers and letters. They are saved in a MYSQL database and each printout must be unique so there should be some way to either delete value pairs from the database when they are printed or else mark them as used so that they are not printed again. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
