Taxi Quoting System

The website will allow customers to submit taxi reservations and have the reservations be quoted by registered companies (taxi companies). Prices quoted by taxi companies would be submitted on the site after they receive an email telling them to quote on a particular journey. Taxi companies would be resisted to a catchment area and the mileage radius they cover using Google maps functionality. If the pickup location falls into the catchment area of a registered taxi company then they will get emailed to quote for that journey. When taxi companies quote on a job they will see who else has quoted for the job and it will show the cheapest quote at the top for that job. Please remember the customer who has submitted the quote will not get the quotes because we will be ringing the customer up to give them the cheapest quote over the telephone. 1. Design will be supplied. But will require some editing 2. Website will need to be done in PHP 3. Understanding Of Wordpress will be required. 4. Need To speak very good English 5. Need to be able to work fast and complete in quick time 6. Will need to understand how to create HTML Emails 7. Will need to provide good referenced of web developed sites. 8. Website will need to be responsive for smart phones and tablets. Points to consider: 1. Customers will log on to website [login to view URL] and submit a taxi quote. 2. With the information submitted the taxi companies in the pickup catchment area will get email requesting them to quote 3. The taxi companies would click on a link in the email which states quote for the journey and they would be directed to a page which will show the quote and if any other companies have quoted for that journey. 4. They would then be able enter a price for the journey. 5. We will be notified via email that a taxi company has quoted for a journey . 6. We would then login to the master admin and see list of all jobs and when we click on a job will be able to see all quotes received for that particular job. 7. In master admin there needs to be good organisation as jobs where the pickup date has passed are put into another folder called “expired jobs” and jobs where the date has not been passed in “pending Jobs”. Taxi companies should be able to register through a link on the website which will be “Register Your Company” .
