Indepth Port Scan Tutorial

We have a requirement for an indepth look at port scanners and common scanning techniques. We've attached several documents that can, and should be used as references for this project. We would like for the following port scanners to be covered: Nmap Hping Xprobe Scanrand Subjects we would like to see covered in this project: Common Scan types: Ping Sweeps, SYN, FIN, ACK, XMAS, FTP Bounce, Inverse, Idle scanning, etc.. OS Detection: The [login to view URL] that we've included is probably one of the best available on the subject. We have attached a lot of really good refernece material to this bid request. Screenshots, diagrams, and cited references are an absolute requirement. We are ballpark figuring that this paper will be 35 - 45 pages long (NOTE: Screenshots, diagrams, and references DO NOT count toward the total page length for this project). Bidders must submit a 1.5 - 3 page document that can be used as the first part of this project so we can judge the bidder's writing ability (NOTE: bidders that do not submit a document will NOT be considered). We would prefer a native english speaker for this project, but we will waive this request if the bidder demonstrates strong command of the english language. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
